Day 1:
Tubing Selection and Design
- Tubing Metallurgy
- Stress vs Strain
- Tubing Limitations and Safety Factors
- API and ISO overview.
Loads Description and understanding
- Burst, Collapse, Axial and Tri-Axial
- Factor of Temperature
- Completion jewelry behavior under different load conditions.
Tubing Stress Analysis Software Packages
- Review current software packages used in different companies.
- Limitation and advantages.
Day 2:
Tubing Stress Analysis Exercise (Well Cat)
- Perform Class exercise for Producer and Injector wells.
- Understand and Analyze results.
- Discuss Tubing Movement and mitigations.
- Packer Loads.
Completions Engineer
Drilling Engineer
Workover/ Intervention Engineer
Well Integrity Engineer
Completions Supervisor
Drilling Supervisor
Subsurface Engineer (Petroleum, Reservoir, Geologist)
Students with major in Petroleum Engineering
- Course will take2 day (~12hours)
- Upon Requirement the course can be made in three days (4hrs each day)
