Wells Internship Program Certificate
Upon successful completion of the Nexus OFS Online Wells Internship Program, students will receive an official Certificate of Completion. Each certificate includes a unique ID number generated by our system and a QR code that verifies its authenticity and confirms the course’s CPD accreditation by the UK CPD Certification Office. Module 1: Well Completion Engineering
In the Well Completion module of the Nexus OFS Online Wells Internship Program, students will learn key completion terminology, equipment functions, and how different components fit into a well. They will gain skills in reading well schematics and understanding basic calculations related to tubing size, flow rates, and pressure drops. The module also covers completion fluids, their impact on well performance, and an introduction to different completion types, including open-hole, cased-hole, and multi-zone completions. By the end, students will have a clear foundational understanding of well completion concepts and their applications in the oil and gas industry.
Module 2: Well Integrity Engineering
In the Well Integrity module of the Nexus OFS Online Wells Internship Program, students will learn the fundamentals of well integrity, including key industry standards and best practices. The module covers techniques for identifying and troubleshooting well integrity anomalies, understanding annulus operating limits, and implementing effective maintenance strategies. In the Well Worker module of the Nexus OFS Online Wells Internship Program, students will learn about the roles and responsibilities of professionals involved in well operations, including drilling, completion, intervention, and integrity engineers. They will explore different well intervention techniques such as slickline, e-line, and coiled tubing, as well as methods for well repair and maintenance. The module also covers well abandonment procedures, industry safety practices, and communication protocols at the wellsite. By the end of this module, students will have a clear understanding of wellsite operations, intervention techniques, and career opportunities in the oil and gas industry.
